   What a timely colloquium!

   We need practical wisdom in politics and we need it in business. That’s my field and I am trying to change the theory and practice of management by using our default ecological rationality and hunger for narrative truth to reconfigure the whole field.

   My forthcoming book The New Ecology of Leadership: Business Mastery in a Chaotic World does for management what Frans de Waal is trying to do for politics. The ecological framework I develop is fractal and can be extended to political science with few adjustments.

   It is an idea whose time has come!
